Names that you strongly dislike
Are there any names that you strongly dislike? You always hear about names that people love but you hear less about names that people hate, do you have any names that fit this category? Not ones that are just spelled silly but the name itself that you dislike.
Mine is Gemma. Pronounced like Gem(such as a precious stone)-muh. I think it's such an ugly sounding name because of it's harsh sound. It makes me cringe whenever I hear it. I'm interested in seeing others' names.

I don't like when people try to spell ordinary names in a unique way like Aimee

Most of the popular, overused names right now make me cringe.
Aiden/Jayden/Kayden/Brayden and all the varieties of those; Mikayla and Mackenzie and all of their 19,212 spelling variations; geographical names like Tennessee/Dallas/Egypt/Bronx/etc; and my own name, Becky, has always bothered me. But I guess I should be thankful I wasn't born in 2012, because then it would be Behckea or something like that! |

Anything made up or a trendy spelling of a name. I had a coworker who named her son a combination of her name and the name of her neighborhood. He named his most recent child his name backwards.
Both names are ...........very unusual.

Any name that is not spelled traditionally. If you do not like the spelling of the name then pick on that you do.
Nevaeh (Heaven backwards would be .... hell?) Tristen Traditional boys names for girls Traditional girls names for boys Putting in any punctuation in a name. A ' is just stupid. |
