Candlelight Processional Reservation

Hi. We went to CP last year and loved it. Ate at Coral Reef and I planned to make dining reservations for Candlelight Processional again. However, my children have informed me they would rather skip it. That is fine with me as they are old enough to tour on their own during that time. My question for you is - could the 5 of us eat at a restaurant with 2 of us paying the higher price for CP and get the two tickets and the 3 of them just order at the regular menu prices? I would love for us to be able to eat together, but don't want to spend the extra money on 3 tickets/passes to CP since they won't be using them. Thanks.
