Question Paradise Beach Cozumel????

I have seen conflicting info regarding charges here.Anyone who has been recently do they charge an entrance fee? Umbrella fee? I know I saw chairs $2 US and $5 for nonmotorized water toys.

TIA Linda

We were just there on the Oct 6 sailing. It's $2 a person for your chair. The umbrellas are already up so just pick a chair next to one! It's 12 extra if you want to use the inflatables, snorkeling and kayaks. My husband and kids did the activities and my mom and I just paid $2 for our chair. Hope this helps you!

First, do not let the taxi driver talk you into a "package." It will be cheaper to just get what you want.

As above, chair is $2, no charge for umbrella. So pick a chair by an umbrella.

We spent $10 for "all non-motorized water toys." If this has gone up to $12, that makes sense. You get a wristband and this price covers the entire day.

I think whoever quoted you $5 was a mistake--it has been $10 for years!

Cab ride from the ship $15 each way + tip. This is per cab, not per person. Cab fares are posted on a sign at the port.

I have Paradise Beach booked for our Dec. 1 sailing. I have been in contact with them directly...the above info is correct. $12 for use of any water toys, kayaks, etc. $2 for use of a chair.....that's it (besides your taxi ride there).

I just want to say that we absolutely loved Paradise beach. The water and beach area were amazing, the people were super friendly without being pushy at all and the food was to die for! The wait staff was incredible- bringing us drinks and really taking care of us.

Is everything handled in cash? Chairs, drink, food? Can you "run a tab" and pay for food and drink at the end?

Did you actually book something with them in advance or did you just ask them some questions? We're planning to visit on our upcoming cruise, but thought we just needed to take a taxi there and purchase what we wanted (chairs, activities wristband) when we got there, and didn't think this was anything to book in advance.

Question Paradise Beach

DCL offers an Excursion for this place as well which includes food and drinks... has anyone done the excursion thru DCL?? We are strongly thinking of it since first time out that way

TIA!!!

We did not book anything. He assured me there is no need for advance reservations. We are so excited! The kids are super anxious to try all the water toys!

It's best to not book anything. On our cruise last year we planned on doing Paradise Beach, but it poured rain the whole day. I know thats not normal, but it does happen.
