Have any Galveston cruisers sent a box to thr port?

If so, how did it go? Any tips or pointers? I have a box to send but am very nervous.

Not sure if it is possible to send since DCL does not have their "own" terminal, like they do in PC.
Would love to know the answer~haven't seen any info on this convenient service...

I have the address and instructions, so it is possible... I know that much, but how successful it will be... i'm not sure.

I saw this post yesterday and I don't know that I am a great person to offer an answer but I did phone DCL to ask this question as I too have a box to send down. I talked to the shoreside concierge and they told me to put my ship name, my name, sail date, staeroom # and packing slip listing the contents. Ship to: Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services, 2109 Post Office Street, #318 Galveston, Texas, 77550. I asked if there were any restrictions on size or weight and they said no. They suggested I use a tracking number and not send it too early or too late. I believe the package has to be there at 3 pm Friday before the cruise. I live in Canada and with the holiday mail and customs, I am going to send it about 2-3 weeks ahead of time. There is a list of restricted items on the alphabetical list on this site, I would link it but I don't know how! It would be nice to hear form someone who has actually done this and if they were sucessful...
