Carry On suggestions
We are going on our first Disney Cruise, May 2013. Traveling with DH, DS 5, DD 2.5. What do I need to put in the carry on? Just extra clothes for the little one or do I need more? We have cruised before, but not with children and not on DCL. Thanks.

There will be food and beverages provided and the pools will be open. You can let your children go swimming, so you might want swimsuits (or have them wear them under their clothes). Towels are provided. If your kiddos require goggles, pack those. Definitely put your camera in your carry-on because there will be a character in the terminal--we lucked out and got Mickey and Minnie!
Oh, you might have a bit of a wait in the terminal, so maybe some stuff to keep them busy there.

We keep our electronics (camera,phones, laptop and cords) in our carry on. Swim suits for the kids to change into. Our DCL beer mugs
 And maybe a few other things just to fill it up. Passports and money etc. as well of course.

if you're bringing on any alcohol or other beverages, they'll need to be in your carry-on luggage. Another passenger saw that DH was hauling on four 12-packs of Dr. Pepper and asked why. duh, because the ship doesn't have it?

Don't forget to pack footwear for your kids after they go swimming! This is the one thing I always forget -- then they have to put their socks and shoes back on after they are done in the water haha. And sunscreen!
