What happens if I don't pay off my balance?

So my pay in full date is today. I am not yet 100% sure that the dates will work (but I think they should), so I tried to move the cruise date further out online this afternoon and wasnt able to do so. I tried calling a little while ago to do it over the phone, but DCL closes at 8pm!

So now I can pay in full tonight and hope the dates will work, but if they don't work out (I should know wthin a week or so if they will work) will lose our deposit (do I still lose the deposit if I switch to a different date, rather than cancel?)

What happens if I just don't pay it off tonight? Will they automatically cancel and refund all the money, or would they refund the $ minus the deposit?

Anyone know?

This is what I get for waiting until the last day!!

From what I know If you do not pay today your reservation will automatically cancel at 10 pm EST and you will lose the deposit. Sorry!

Call first thing in the morning !!

One time our travel agent took our final payment and KEPT IT!

I figured that out several days later when I had issues on Disney's web site. I called immediately ... Disney was wonderful to work with .... of course our choice staterooms were GONE but at least Disney let us have the original price back and start over ... we got our $$$ back from the credit card company ...eventually.

So I say call Disney tomorrow as soon as they open .... explain what happened and hope for pixie dust ...

Can you go online and just cancel it today and book it later if you decide to go?

Unfortunately online it says modifications to the cruise date can't be done at this time, and to cancel I need to call - and they closed at 8pm - I called at 8:10!

Looking at one of my payment receipts it states that payment is due by 11:59pm today, after which time it will cancel and penalties assessed. I'm going to pay it now and hope the dates work out for us. If they don't, it's a short cruise and only me and DH traveling, so at least the deposit is low anyway if we end up losing it...

Ok I don't know specifics but can't you move some of the $$ to another date after the PIF date? I could be wrong. I really don't know. Good luck.

This is probably your best bet--if you do nothing, you lose your deposit. If you pay it off and then have to change the date, you'll lose the deposit. You can pay it off, then call on Monday and try to explain that the computer wouldn't allow you to move it tonight.
