I took my 10 y/o dd to Justin Bieber's concert in September. It was the first show of his new tour. We were in the middle of a move and I missed out buying tickets when they went on sale and had to get them through a broker, it was over $400 for the both of us. I remember paying 20 bucks back in the day.
I would love to take her to more concerts but probably not for a long time!!

Yes, I paid about that for DD birthday. FWIW, it was a good, clean concert. Taylor was a sweetheart!

My DW and DD6 went last year and plan to go in May when it returns to Austin. We love her, but are beginning to have trouble rationalizing the seemingly endless stream of men she dates. Her public (interviews, concerts) and private (relationships with boys) personae come across as completely different.

$20? I remember paying $6 to go see John Denver in 1976.
Anyway, $115 for probably the hottest ticket in town sounds about right. Two years ago, DH and I went to see George Strait and Reba. I think we paid about $125 per ticket.

We paid about a hundred a pop for tickets to see Bruce Springsteen. It's worth it to me, as he is probably one of the best live shows around, these days. And I don't know if I'll ever get the opportunity to see him again. If Taylor is like that for y'all, I say go for it.

Did presale even start for her new tour yet? I thought it started November 18 or something like that.

Last year we paid $135 a seat for TS concert tickets.
I have to say it was well worth it. The concert was great. My DD's LOVED it!!

They go on sale for most of the dates on November 16th and I think the presale is a couple of days before that. They range in price from $50-100.

I'm so glad to read that they aren't on sale yet. I did some searching last night and found concert dates, but the only tickets available were from 3rd party sites that I had never heard of. I couldn't figure out why they were available there but not at Ticketmaster.
In my search, on some Taylor Swift website that had the dates, it said all tickets would be less than $50. Boy wouldn't that be nice!

I am 28 with no kids and just recently watched the Taylor Swift Fearless Tour on Netflix...and wow. She is wholesome, a great singer, and a fabulous entertainer. I don't know what tickets to her concerts typically cost but if it is $115 it is still worth it. Up until now, I thought she was just really immature (I still think she is somewhat in the sense I think she wants to live in a fantasy world), but she really is a great person inside and out. She truly cares about her fans and I just like the clean image she portrays.
