Turns out they were from the Rhode Island / Delaware area and there is a lady up there (whose name I forget) who looks an awful lot like yours truly - to the point that they thought we might be twins. All I can say is I feel kind of bad for her if she gets up in the morning and has me staring back at her cross-eyed in the mirror!

You mean not everyone comes running saying "OMG IT'S BENDY!!!! "


& next time.. you need to bring a really big bag to those sessions... I bet you could get a couple of bottles out of that bar in no time!!!

Not only did I not catch the straw, I gave up on the drink altogether because it actually wasn't very good. Made up for it in Skyline!

And ... I don't think we were as much fun in 2005 ... some of my health issues were rearing their ugly heads back then and I was decidedly more cranky in those days.

Thanks for reading along with us! If you ever get a chance to attend Mixology it usually does end up being one of the more interesting and fun seminars (probably because of all the booze and because it's so interactive) ... give it try next time!

The tray of fruit you're referring to came at the end of our couples treatment at the vista spa - we booked a couples villa and this was delivered at the end for us to enjoy together.

Finally got all caught up with your postings Loved how you and Jay were out there playing mini golf with the strong winds stirring up! I understand the passengers being disappointed about not stopping at Castaway Cay since I'm sure they were all looking forward to experiencing it but I agree with you about not taking it out on the crew They're just trying to keep people safe because we all know if they didn't take precautions and something happened, those same passengers would have been complaining that they didn't look out for their safety. I love how you enjoy your breakfast room service. It just sounds so relaxing. Pete and I never took advantage of it on any of the cruises we've taken but I will definitely try it when we go on our next cruise in May! That mixology seminar seemed like a lot of fun! You and Jay could have probably taught that seminar! Can't wait for the next update.

Hi Linda!! I think you're totally right - there are some people who are just going to complain no matter what. Too bad really since it's vacation but I can't point the finger too much since I'm sure I've complained once or twice in my life, too.

I wish we'd taken advantage of room service breakfast more than once ... we just didn't think about until later in the week. But it was so nice and so relaxing.

Mixology was awesome ... jay and I would probably make good assistants but no way are we good enough to compete with someone like Novak.

I am not sure these were all the actual items on the menu looking at it now though, and I think I remember thinking the same thing when we got the copies of the menu from our concierge. But oh well it is worth a shot!

Well hello! I really hope we weren't too obnoxious during the seminar. We sort of encourage terrible silliness in each other when we have too much to drink and by the time of this seminar we had definitely started to have too much.
