Aquatica
We (me, DH, 6 kids ages 15months-almost 10) will be in Orlando from Dec 1-Dec 7. We are wondering if we should skip Aquatica due to: not sure of weather and the little ones will be uncomfortable if it's chilly.
Any Advice? Is it must stop?

We visited twice on our August trip. For a ton of pictures and lots of little details about the park, check out my trip report (see the link in my signature).
Is it a must-do? That's hard to say, and depends on a lot of factors. We enjoyed it enough to plan for it on our Christmas trip (weather permitting, of course) and have already booked a cabana for Christmas Eve day. But we are waterpark lovers and love the chance to escape our cold Canadian winter for an Aquatica beach day, so maybe our opinion is skewed. The park is beautiful, the slides and water attractions are awesome, and its a great place to spend a day. Roa's Rapids is by far the best water attraction we've ever enjoyed as a family, and we have been to many waterparks (including the USA's largest, Noah's Ark, in Wisconsin Dells). The weather could be spectacular and very much waterpark-worthy in early December. Or it could be crap. I would say that's your biggest and most important variable, and unfortunately, its one of the few over which you have zero control. And won't know if its an issue until right before you travel.

We were there today. It was mostly sunny but a little too windy and the temps were only up to 75F or so. If the wind hadn't have been blowing it would have been good. As it was it was a little chilly walking around wet. The water was warm and it was good while you were in the water but coming out with the wind on you it was chilly. I think the kids minded it more than we did. But it is a great water park.

A kid focused attraction that yours might enjoy would be the water play ground -IMO it is really fantastic from a kids point of view - also the tot area is very nice - but the two areas are not right next to each other. December though may be too cold - and IMO Aquatica is NOT a must do - but I was looking for adult calm swimming opportunities and it is mostly geared for tots/kids/teens and young adults. I have an annual pass and have been one time in seven months. If you're hot and want to cool off sure it would be fun but I can't imagine needing a cool down in December really.
