Cinderella's Royal Table - Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
My DD9, DS6 and I went to MK for the first time in the spring of 2011 but didn't do Cinderella's Royal Table. Our only character meal was Tusker House breakfast. My new DH and DSS15 have never been to anything Disney. I KNOW I want to do CRT on our first day there next June if I can. But I can't decide which of these reasons is most important to decide on time.
Breakfast - First "real" Disney experience (we are staying off property) Lunch - out of the heat during the hottest part of the day Dinner - I think DH will appreciate having his biggest/nicest meal of the day at dinner time. Any thoughts? |

My DH prefers his big meals during dinner hours too! (I was just tweaking some of our meals for spring break, and while lunches are often less expensive if paying out of pocket, I understand his feeling of needing a nap after a big meal!)
Sometimes when we eat a big meal in the middle of the day, we feel like heading back to the resort for a rest. I will say that DH DID love our CRT breakfast back in 2005. We did lunch at CRT last year, and it was nice to have a break in the middle of the day. But I'd go with dinner next time and have our day end with eating in beautiful Cinderella Castle :-) |

We did CRT in February of 2011. I booked it for 4 people and we ended up doing dinner. My reasoning behind doing dinner was basically that the price per person was the same no matter what. If I'm not mistaken I paid about $60 a person which seemed outrageous to me for breakfast food. Doing it for dinner was a nice way to wind down the day.

In the summer heat, it would indeed be great to get indoors off your feet in the a/c or a break.
BUT. Early park entry for breakfast is an experience of its own. The chance to walk down a nearly empty Main Street and get photos witout all the crowds..... is so magical. I say do breakfast. You can get out of the heat in a nice counter service location later in the day. Have a great trip! |
