Question This might be a silly question about Be Our Guest Restaurant but I have to ask!

We'll be spending just two days at DW in January after our cruise on the Dream, mainly to check out the new Fantasyland

So my question is, is Beast's castle ONLY a restaurant? I ask because I want to know if I should plan on having lunch there just to see the inside Or is there more to it? Do people go in just to look if it is only a restaurant? Thanks!

It is only a restaurant - and technically, you could buy drinks/dessert and not a whole meal if you wanted to be seated inside during lunch hours, since it's a CS.

(We won't tell anyone that you had cupcakes for "lunch" )

Sadly, it wouldn't be the first time I've had cake for a meal!

Thanks for the tip!

Yes - the only thing they have in there is the restaurant.

It's technically not IN the castle, they built it into the "mountain" under the castle.

Word is that if you go for lunch you will not be allowed to wander around to look at the different dining rooms. You'll see the ordering room and the dining room you're assigned to.

Aw, that's kind of disappointing about not being able to wander around. I hope I get the rose room or the ballroom then since I've read here that the west wing is really dark.

So silly question number two, since the restaurant is in the mountain, what's in the castle?

There's nothing in the castle. It's a very small forced-perspective model.

The decor in the restaurant is very castle-like, and if you try Belle's Enchanted Tales you are transported from Belle's cottage to the castle (not saying how - see it for yourself).

Ah, did not realize the castle was small, I guess I've just seen the faraway shots (so we know the forced-perspective is working!).

So now I'm definitely going to see Belle's Enchanted Tales, that sounds awesome!

It's off topic here but I really did enjoy Belle's Enchanted Tales! And for on-topic discussion, the restaurant is beautiful, at least the ballroom and the CS ordering room, I didn't see the rest of it yet.

You have me very intrigued. My daughter and her family are going to the Previews on 11/11 (I believe that is the date). They plan on eating at BOG so I am going to tell her to make sure that she goes to Belle's first.

Thanks for the tip!
