Dressier Restaurants?
Okay, I enjoy dressing up at times for dinner. Not formal wear but a slightly dressier knee length dress. I packed a couple but am not sure if I will stick out like a soar thumb with everyone in their theme park attire. The signature dining restaurants we will be eating at are Hollywood Brown Derby, California Grill, and Cinderella's Royal Table. Which of these would I feel comfortable with a slightly dressier dress? Thanks

I say if you enjoy dressing up, then do so. Of the three, DG is most likely to have others dressing up as well since it is not in the parks. I know that I tend to dress a little nicer as well when we eat at a resort TS.

You'll be fine at any of the resort signatures, like Cali Grill. However all of the in-park signatures are VERY casual. Normal park attire is the rule of thumb for HBD and CRT.

Like you, my wife & I do try and wear our upscale park attire when visiting CRT and/or HBD (both next week) - her print dresses with hidden Mickey's and my collared shirt with Disney/Pixar always seem 'more proper' for a place with $30 entrees (but I still wear sneakers). While Disney has a dress code for Signature restaurants, it is loosely enforced. My last visit to CA Grill included a young man in a hockey jersey (it was not the Might Ducks) and a child laying on the floor with his pillow while he was waiting for the fireworks to begin. I was the only 'gentleman' wearing a jacket that was not a waiter and I was not uncomfortable. But like a free and unexpected upgrade to first-class airline seating, your attire might make a difference in where you're seated. The only place where there is a strict policy is Victoria & Albert.

As others have so well said, you'll be best off in a dress at CG. There will be others there dressed in similar fashion for sure.
At the other 2 spots, you might be the only person in a dress----

Just ate at Cinderella's TAble last night, and Hollywood Brown Derby on Sunday. The only people dressed up at the Castle meal were the princesses and the little girls in full princess regalia...all the adults were in casual park wear (a few sundresses, but the kind that would have been fine at a beach, not fancy sundresses. Otherwise, shorts & tshirts)
Hollywood Brown Derby...the servers were the dressiest outfits there, lol. Definitely totally casual park attire. haven't eaten at Cali Grill for a couple of years, but that was more dressed up than not...there were some people in shorts, but the longer, khaki types. Mostly golf shirts on the guys & nicer slacks or skirts on the women...but still not very dressy for most of the people there. Out of the whole place, maybe 3-4 couples were very dressed up (like cocktail-party attire, "little black dress" for the women, dress slacks & button down shirts on the guys...dress shoes.)
