Which scooter Co?

My mother will need to rent a scooter from a recent back surgery. Which company is good for rates, customer service and prices?

Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. Post 2 of that thread has information about renting ECVs, including websites and phone numbers of companies that are most often recommended by DISposters.
I would not hesitate to rent from any of them.

We've used Walkers Mobility and Apple and have not had a problem with either. We used to use Walker's all the time, but switched to Apple a couple of trips ago, just because they were a little cheaper. We'd recommend either though. Cares and Randy's also gets good reviews.

You also need to figure out whether you want the convenience of having it dropped of waiting for you at bell services and being able to leave it at bell services when you leave. Or do you want to arrange with a company a pick up and delivery time and meet with them both arriving and leaving. There are only 5 companies at this time that are allowed to drop a scooter at bell services for you and for you to leave it there at the end of your trip. You will find those companies also listed in the section that Sue mentioned.

I have used Apple a couple of times with great results, and have found them to be one of the cheapest ones out there. They are also one of the 5 preferred providers.

I only had one experience -- I used Walker Mobility on last year's WDW trip due to an injury, and had no problems whatsoever. I do recommend you look at the website to choose your model (I think I chose the gogo elite or something like that) and also to watch a youtube video to figure out how to take it apart and put it back together to put in trunk, etc. it's easy, just have to watch it at least once.
