Upgrades at Port Question?
I see the different threads but I am not quite sure how this works. I have only taken one cruise(Dream April 2012).
Do they ask you at check in about an upgrade or do you have to ask them?
Are the upgrades discounted in comparison to the same move if you did the same upgrade through your travel agent or Disney's website? And if they are discounted, about how much on the average?

The upgrades are discounted, and the price is based on the category you booked vs. upgraded category, not # of people. The price difference can vary from cruise to cruise, but is considerably less than if you upgrade prior to checking in. We upgraded from a cat 6B to a cat T in August and the upgrade price was about a third of what we would have paid prior to checking in at the port.
