How is Boatwright's? Any reviews?
We're staying at Port Orleans, so I'm thinking of eating at Boatwright's the night we arrive just because it will be easy. But I don't feel like I've seen many reviews of it...anyone have some opinions to share? If it's not very good, we're willing to go elsewhere for a good meal.

We have had two excellent dinners there, the most recent in September of this year. We had a group of six not easy to please people and we all left full and happy! I didn't have it but most everyone in my group had prime rib which they said was delicious. I believe French onion soup is on the menu too which was yummy.

The meal we had was ok, I felt it was over priced for the portion and quality.

The reviews I have seen seem most favorable when people ordered the prime rib.

We enjoyed our meal there. Plus it was really nice to relax and have a meal at the resort instead of having to deal with transportation.

We will be eating there next Sunday. Our plan is to get back from the parks, eat and watch football. DH is a Cowboys fan
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hahhahah! We stay at POR all the time but we haven't been in years. Reviews have been pretty good lately so I am hoping for a good dinner. I have read that the tenderloin is small and the prime rib is big! |

So many restaurants have discontinued serving prime rib so I might have to try it at Boatwright's

We ate there with our 2 boys and hubby and I loved it! Service was excellent. The cornbread is the best I've ever had. We shared an appetizer if the BBQ shrimp which was excellent and the jambalaya, also very good. Even with sharing we left full. I highly recommend it. Don't miss Bob Jackson next door at River Roost Lounge!

We too are eating there next Sunday. The decision was made after scheduling a last-minute dinner there last year that blew us away. We knew we'd have to return. Boatwright's was such a pleasant surprise. Everything we ordered - from appetizers to the desserts they packed for us to take back to our room - was just ideal. In a trip that included dinners at Citricos, Il Mulino and even our favorite, Jiko, Boatwright's is the one that most exceeded our expectations.

I believe there is a recent review over on the Disney Food Blog. We ate there on Oct. 1 with 6 adults. The reviews were mixed. The onion soup was really good as was the gumbo. I was the only one who had the prime rib. It was cooked as requested and was fine, but didn't have the richness I usually like to find in prime rib. Those who had the jambalaya liked it.
