We have a Big River in our city so have eaten there a few times. The beer is fine, the food is fine. Nothing terrible, nothing special. I guess we never eat there at WDW because we can get it at home. I also second the recommendation for Beaches and Cream.

I liked this review from Disney Food Blog...based on it, I would give the place a try:

It might be 80-85 degrees out at the end of November.

BRG and B&C are very different atmospheres, so I would choose based on that. no adr for B&C, which has great atmosphere and fd, but limited menu. Wasn't thrilled with BRG indoors, but maybe outdoors I would have enjoyed it more. . Late Nov will probably be high in the low 70s, so should be good for outdoor dining.

We found rude servers, rude hostess, burned food on the outside and frozen on the inside. They seated us at a table that had not been cleared and they took their time clearing it and wiping if off. They never called us to our table until we walked back up after seeing a lot of people who checked in after us get seated. Manager was also rude.

Never again.

I'm going to quote you on that one.... literally! I sure hope you are right!!!!!

So we decided on something totally different and made an ADR for lunch at Fulton's Crab House in DTD. After hoping for the clambake and not being able to get it, I am still looking forward to some seafood and don't think we made an ADR for a good seafood restaurant.

Our plan is to head to DTD around 11am, walk around and grab a large lunch at Fultons for 2:10pm and then head over to visit Yacht club, beach club and then hit the boardwalk and have ice cream at beaches and cream for dinner! Sounds like a good plan to us, what do you all think?

well below average in quality and the service is consistently poor.
The saving grace is the Beer Cheese Soup, which is truly quite tasty
and filling - couple it with a salad and it makes a good meal, especially
when accompanied by several (or many) glasses of brew. The other
offerings are very ordinary and well deserving of a "poor quality and
overpriced" rating. I would rather go to a Chili's or Applebee's for food
rather than Big River. This is probably why the place is seldom fully
packed or busy.
I agree! Go to B&C!

When we stay at BWV, it's our traditional arrival lunch. Love the burgers and sitting out on the boardwalk soaking in the sun (hopefully) and the atmosphere! Love it!

We like it! From the nachos and burgers to the chicken and steak right up to the white chocolate raspberry cheese cake. My DS likes the beer selection and they have a full bar too.

I highly recommend the nachos with chicken. It's your typical brewery but I'd say a little nicer and a more laid back "regular day" crowd (as opposed to your typical Disney restaurant). Burgers are really good too...
I'd also recommend, in the same area, the Italian place in the Swan. We stopped in last year for a small bite before a late dinner and ended up going back for dinner we liked it so much. The arranchinis and the belinis are a must
Also, Jellyrolls for late night is one of the best bars in the country! No food though...
