Anyone on the Dream right now? Castaway Cay Damage?
I've been following the Fantasy thread this morning and I'm concerned about how the Dream is doing. Everyone safe and sound?
Also, anyone have news about damage to Castaway Cay? Hoping everyone was safely off the island and there was no real devastation there.

I am wonder where the Dream is also, Marine Traffica, says she is out of range. At some point yesterday someone had posted that the Fantasy and Dream weren't far from each other. Is the Dream just cruising out in the ocean somewhere, they headed away from the storm.

Yeah, they've been out of range for awhile. Pictures of the Caribbean on the news are awful. I hope everything is okay...

The Dream was supposed to go to CC today, but they decided to port in Nassau instead, correct? The next ship to go to CC is the Dream on Tuesday. They can't possibly wait that long to get the CM's back on the island to clean things up. Anyone know what the plan is?

They pulled non-essential personnel off of the island on Tuesday. We were at the top of Pelican Plunge around 4pm when they made the announcement to pull people. The lifeguard up there was talking to us about the preparations they were going to have to make that evening. I'm guessing it will be a short while before an update is able to get out.

I was watching marinetraffic.com last evening and saw the Dream and Fantasy pretty close together as previously mentioned. What I found odd was that the destination for the Dream read 'Key West'. Then she took a turn to the SE and then was out-of-range. I wonder if she did end up in Nassau?

At some point theyll do a fly over with a helicopter and will do an on site inspection. Then what ever ship has the cms from the island on it needs to get back to ready the island. From reading on fb Stuart coves in Nassau wasnt reporting damage so id imagine that cc should be open soon.

We just got off the Dream and headed to the airport. It was very rough seas. No damage to the Dream as we know of! Castaway Cay has a lot of damage but the crew on the island were safe as reported by the Captain. Captain Henry did an awesome job for the situation we were in. Would I do it again? Heck yeah! We had a great time!!

We did not stop at any ports. Nassau had taken damage when daylight had come up and port authority called it unsafe. So we took the cruise to nowhere.
