Crystal Palace vs. Tusker House breakfast

I'm rearranging some ADRs and wanted to get your opinions on which character breakfast is better, CP or TH. Right now I have ADRs for both, chosen mostly because they will allow early entry to MK and AK on their respective days. I have decided to cancel one of the ADRs in the interest of saving time and money. I am not a huge breakfast eater on most days anyway, it's much more appealing to me to grab a granola bar or something and hit the rides when I am at WDW- I save the real tummy-stuffing for dinner! But I'd like to try one of the character breakfasts on one morning during my trip. It will just be me and my boyfriend eating, no kids, so I guess I was wondering which meal is better for adults and also which you would recommend food-wise. I was also curious on whether most people would prefer the early entry to AK or to MK (better photo ops, etc?). Thanks!

Honestly, it's toss up but, I have to say Tusker House. I thought it had more variety. But, I like early ADR's prior to park opening so, we'll probably do both.

I usually go with DFi, no kids as well. As far as food, I prefer Tusker House. I also like Donald and Daisy over the Pooh gang. CP does have some good options too (love the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna). As far as early park entry I would prefer MK though. It's awesome to get a somewhat empty shot in front of the castle. I also like to run to Space Mountain first. You can't really go wrong either way though.

I really can't decide!! At first I was leaning toward TH because it seems more like my sort of food/atmosphere, but I really want to try the famous breakfast lasagna at CP! And as far as parks before opening, an empty Main Street sounds amazing, but I'd also like to be one of the first on Kilimanjaro Safaris and see the animals coming out in the morning. Decisions, decisions... I might end up having to keep both dang it.

My vote is to do Tusker House. I prefer the characters there and I think it is the best tasting food at a character buffet that we've had.

my vote would be TH. go for rope drop at MK and get as much done in the morning as you could. maybe main st. bakery for a quick bite in the morning.

that's a hard one. I really LOVE both! But if i had to choose id pick crystal palace. made to order eggs, poohs puffed french toast, and the most amazing dish, BREAKFAST LASAGNA! oh man is it ever good.

Aside from the food, i like the atmosphere better at CP. Its far prettier than tusker. Plus its nice walking down an empty main street if you get an early ADR. But either way, you cant go wrong with whichever you choose. they're both awesome.

My vote is CP. Food is great but so is Tusker. Not the Big Cheese, but great characters. To me the selling point is an empty Main Street. You will feel like a VIP with the park to yourself.

We did both this week and you really can't go wrong with either choice. Too bad there aren't more choices in life that give such a certain great outcome :-)

We did both on our last trip. Both had 8:05 ADR's. CP was a mad house at checkin and we didn't get out of there until after 9 b/c we had to wait on characters(Pooh and Piglet). We still had a great time just put us a bit behind our plans for the day. TH lived up to my expectations. We were the 2nd family in which helped I'm sure, but everything went so smoothly. We got our food and by the time we were returning with our plates, the characters started making their rounds. We were at the front of the ropedrop for KS. We decided after this trip breakfast buffets first thing are not for us though. We just didn't think we ate enough to justified the cost. A 10:30 ADR would suit our family better as we would've worked up an appetite, yet don't want to miss the time in touring. Anywho, this isn't about my family......I would go with TH just because it worked with the plans I had for the day. Have fun!

It all boils down to which characters you like better. As I said, both places are AMAZING for breakfast in terms of food. I based my decision on the food...TH might have more of a variety, but the things I really liked about CP is the made-to-order eggs & choc.chip pancakes...also the poohs french toast and breakfast lasagna. If I decided based on characters, TH would win for sure because im a bigger fan of Donald Duck etc than I am of Pooh & friends. In summary, since both places offer delish food, pick based on the characters.
