Not terrible, not great. The kids LOVE it. We found that the b-fast food was better than lunch in our opinion. It is worth it overall, it is a must do for younger kids. But the food....not worth the $$$. Your DD will think so though. We have gone 5 years in a row (2 for lunch- 3 for b-fast), so it isn't that bad.

Needless to say worst of character experience and food worst Buffett style I've had at Disney. There's one I should have cancelled !

My DH took DD6 there last week. He proclaimed it the best breakfast of the week (better than Akershus).

We really enjoyed Hollywood and Vine during our trip in September. I wasn't particularly excited about it going in to it, but ended up being very impressed.
We went for lunch, and the variety and quality of food being offered really impressed us. There were pre-made cold cut sandwiches that were just excellent, as well as four or five different "main course" dishes that were really good. My favorite was a pasta and sausage dish. It was among the best buffet food of our trip, which was a pleasant surprise. We also had awesome character interaction. It wasn't very busy, and each character came by our table at least twice. The same trip we did Chef Mickey's and Tusker House, and found Hollywood and Vine to have the most character interaction. Overall we definitely would eat there again, as it exceeded our expectations.

We were there for breakfast so I can't comment on the food aspect for you but we loved it! The character interaction was great - they came by our table more than once and we had more interaction here than any other character meal. Of course DD is 4 and DS 2 so being Disney Junior was perfect for us - watching them dance with the characters was a blast. It's a definite return for us.
