Cabin request at FW??

We are staying at FW cabins 7 Dec - 15 Dec with a DS 7 and a DD 9.
Should we request a certain cabin to not have to walk as far to transportation? And if so what cabins?

Rather than requesting a particular cabin, just word your request to say what is important to you. For example "Near Transportation" tells the room assigner what you are looking for and affords them some flexibility in satisfying your preferences.

Keep in mind though that being near transportation may also mean more noise as the busses go by and people head to/from the parks.

Loop 2500 is small and any cabin is an easy walk to the bus stop. Plus it's next to the cabin pool and laundry room.

I have always requested to be close transportation, and I've always been near the front of a loop by a bus stop. Although I could faintly hear buses going down the road, it wasn't loud enough to bother me inside the cabin.

We stayed in the cabins many times. Most recently this August and again in October for a family wedding. Both recent times I asked for "near bus stop" and both times could not have been farther from the bus!! At check-in I asked for something closer, and both times have been accomodated with cabins at very front of loop. They don't always look at requests!! Just don't do the online check in. That way, if you don't like where they put you, you can change. Also, as a side note, this last time 2 weeks ago, they put us in a cabin with a HUGE flood in front of the steps! What a mess! Thinking it would go down as the day went on (it didn't!), I was pretty angry when we got back to cabin that night. I called just to vent, not really expecting any resolution at 11pm, they immediately found us another cabin, also close to bus, and we moved that night! They even sent a van over to help us move (didn't need it, because we had a car, but very thoughtful). Very accomodating!
