Best building in Coronado Springs? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm curious...which is the best building in Coronado Springs? Keep in mind we would like to be close to a bus stop and do not need to be near or even want to be near a pool.

Non preferred I would request casitas 4 or 5. Close to the food court area and casitas section is bus stop #2 but while this is confusing, that is the first pick up.

Each section of CSR has its own bus stop. The casitas stop is picked up and dropped off first when going to and from the parks (it is actually bus stop #2), then ranchos, then cabanas, then El Centro (the main building).

Casita 4 is closest to the casitas stop. Ranchos 6A is closest to the Ranchos stop (but far from everything else). Cabanas 8A and 8B are closest to the cabanas stop.

Here is the map to help you out:

Preferred buildings are casitas 1, 2 and 3. Cabana 9B will be business class in 2013. All others are standard buildings.

You can simply request "close to bus stop" unless you have a village preference. If you have strollers or wheelchairs, you might prefer the casitas since it is the first stop picked up.

Each village has a quiet pool. There are no rooms near the Dig Site pool.

If you haven't already made your request and your trip is next week (based on your ticker), you should go ahead and call in your request.

We arrive the same day as you at CSR. I've stayed there 2 times before and we love the cabanas. Building 8B puts you right between the Dig Site and the Cabana bus stop. If you take the bridge the main building isnt that far either. We love the CSR cabanas. Have a great trip and maybe we will see you at the pool.

Ditto! Right by a bus stop, and not too far from the main buildings. And the health club is right next door.

Here's our favorite location at CSR....somehow we were lucky enough to get this room in building 8B in the Cabana section two times!!! It's on the first floor, on the corner, right near the walkway to bus stop 4. For us it is the perfect location.

Of course you can't request a particular room. However we really like the location of Cabana 8A and 8B.

I think when we stayed at CSR 8 years ago we were in the room right above the one you stayed in! Great location-8b.

We arrive at CSR on sunday the 28th. We requested Casita 4 or Cabana 8. We have stayed at CSR several times. We really like Casita 3, but now since it is a preferred location we didn't request it, we willl have a standard room.
