If anyone could share their experiences with getting the candy canes DL and/or DCA I would really appreciate it. Like which line at the turnstiles and exactly what you did. I'll be there this Friday and Saturday and I want to be as prepared as possible as Lil Bro and I missed out on them last year. Thanks!

I got mine last Monday and it was almost too easy! We got in line a little after 9 and were about 10-15 people back. They did not hand wristbands out at the turnstiles and we did fast walk to the candy store, but we easily made it into the first group. Then we went to grab a bite to eat and walked back around about an hour later to see they were still handing out wristbands and werent even into the third group yet. Im sure this is not a common experience but we had no issues

Today we were left into the park early like 30 minutes. People who got there at opening could still get wristbands.

Not a big deal the day we got ours at DCA either.

The turnstiles opened 15 min prior to official park opening (I thought it always used to be 30 min prior?) We went straight to the RSR FP line, back to ride TSMM and get Screamin' FP's, then up front to get Soarin' FP's, and even after all that we were still able to get a wristband for the 2:30 candy cane pick up.

Wow! It sounds like its been super easy this year! I hope that continues to this weekend. So they aren't doing the wristbands at the turnstiles but at the shops, right? I know it's Candy Palace in DL but what shop in DCA?

I'm so excited after seeing Guy Fieri's Christmas special last night, I love peppermint and have been craving a candy cane ever since.

At Trolly Treats is it the same thing where you can see them being made?

And they start making them at park opening and again at 2?

I was at Trolley treats saturday at about 25 mins before rope drop and easily got a wristband for the candy canes...they had three or four CM outside the door giving out the wrist band. Only took less than a minute to get the wristband and I still made it in line for RSP with at 11 am return time.

I would definitely recommend trying for DCA candy canes over DL. On Saturday we were at the gates at 7:20. When they let us in, one of us went to the RSR FP line and were under Carthay. The other went to Trolley treats and got the 9:30 bracelet. Then we switched and the other got 11:30 bracelet. Virtually no waiting in line. They had 4 CMs out front with the bracelets. We were able to watch them making the candy canes later that day.

Meanwhile, today was the day they were making them in DL. We were walking in the park at 7:35 and there was a long line for the candy canes and I don't think everyone in the line was going to get a bracelet. Definitely much easier at DCA even on a weekend.

Now I just need to figure out how I am going to eat this thing!
