new uk cast member
hey guys.... my oldest son sets off on a years adventure by becoming a cast member at the uk in world showcase next week. we are so very exited for him and know that this is going to be something that he will look back on for the rest of his life as a very special time ( i mean who wouldnt just love to work for disney). what i need to know is what are the main things we need to make him to look out for whilst in the usa. he has spent 3 years at uni so he is quite street smart but this is a whole new thing. what tips would you give him for his next year in the usa?

My 24 year old daughter became very good friends with several of the UK CMs in the past. She just returned from attending the University of Leeds for a year. Most of the CMs are very good about looking out for each other. Try not to worry. I know it is very hard when your child is so far from home, but he will be fine.
If you would like, PM me your son's name. I'll have my daughter seek him out next time she's in Epcot. We live very close and go over on a regular basis. She can help out if he ever needs anything. She's been very good, in the past, shuttling CMs to places like Walmart, Target, etc.
