My care packages are legendary but never contain pounds of food. They get 4 care packages a school year, Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day and Easter, but I'm sure if they received this cute little cookie in the mail it would brighten their day and make them smile.

Sometimes out of the blue I will send a card with a $10 Sonic or Starbucks gift card, sometimes a $5 bill. Thankfully I have taught them to appreciate the little things in life, and those random surprises make them happy, not upset that they didn't get "pounds of food".

I have to agree with some of the previous posters. I think my DD and my DS will appreciate a small token of a cookie or 6! I send care packages often and they do not include pounds of food! They both have full meal plans so why do I need to send pounds of food? I think the small token of a "I'm thinking of you cookie" is a fantastic idea! I will let you know later this week how it was received!
