I work for this company (actually the flowers but I can sell this also). Keep in mind about those complaining about the price, it has a $5 gift card included. Not a bad deal and yes the cookies are yummy. I not only work for them, I am a customer. BTW if you decide to send a full box, these cookies freeze wonderfully. I was in cookie club for a while and got too many for just my dd. I freeze them and she just grabs one when she wants it. So yum, and I don't normally like sweets.

editing to add: Same as, or less than, a greeting card. These are way tastier

It's cuter or a little surprise, but I'd hardly call one cookie a care package.

Their cookies are very good. I order them for birthdays and Christmas and they're always a hit.

Here is another deal from them. I removed the link because it wasn't working. For anyone interested, just do a search for Cheryl's free 6 cookies.

Love it!! Thank you for sharing. It really is about the cost of a card, and way way more fun to send my niece and nephew who are so little that cards don't really matter to them.

Thanks again OP!

Oh my...decisions, decisions. This is now hard to figure out. I had loved the idea of the $5 greeting. But now...for $2 more, I can send DD 5 more cookies with no greeting. Honestly, I'm really torn.

Regardless of which option - I'll have to make it quite clear to DD that if I don't see the coupons they are sending...she won't get any more!

Thank you OP for posting this! I have two kids off in college and this is perfect!!
I just ordered the 6 cookie deal with the halloween cookie. I was still able to add a free little message as well. I hope the kids like the idea!

Unfortunately most college students, when talking about a "Care Package" are thinking in pounds of food, not one ounce. Use of this $5.00 special would never be considered a Care Package.

This thread reminded me to send my college student a box of cookies and brownies for Halloween! I sent enough to share; her dorm floor is a friendly one.

What a cute idea! We'll send Halloween treats to my nieces and nephew n teh states--sometimes just a small "thinking of you" thing is all you want and can afford.

Cheshire Figment - I just guess you and I will need to "agree to disagree" on this! We've made a point to not just send food in the care packages to our daughter. Now - we've sent ones that are food-based as well. As "broke-college parents" sending pounds of food would be cost prohibitive, and we would do that far less often. Sending something that is $5 or $6.99 really is a cost effective way to send a quick something to our college student. I for one know that my DD is most appreciative of anything we have sent our DD, and we've not ever sent "pounds and pounds" of food.
