Planning ADR : T-Rex or hotel meal?

I may already be late in terms of planning and getting ADRs.
Let say, however, that I can get all that I want.

We are at Disney 7 nights and 8 days. I am therefore counting on 7 snacks, 7 CS and 7 TS.

Family is 4 adults; 2 boys 6 and 8 and 1 girl 5. (the girl was at Disney in July and did all the princess things)

I am starting with the TS planning.

I would hope of getting BOG, CORAL REEF or Garden Grill (what's best for family?), Fantasmic dinner package (Mama Melrose most likely), Crystal Palace before MK opening, Hoop De Doo (2 TS) on our last day.

It means that during the week, I will have 1 TS left to us. I am a bit sad as I would have wanted to do both T-REX in DTD; and something else in a fancier hotel (we'll stay at the ASMu). We want to stay within our alloted TS with the DD.

So, on our rest day, what would you suggest we do? T-REX in DTD? A suggestion for a great TS meal with boys?

Have you considered paying OOP for T-Rex? That way you have a TS every day? I know you said you only want to use your allotments, but T-Rex sometimes has discounts (like kids meal discounts), you can get a Landry's card (you pay $25 and get a $25 credit and get $25 on your birthday month), and the portions were really big.

My son really enjoyed dinner at Ohana.

I see you already have a DHS Fantasmic, but my son really enjoyed Sci Fi

We only dined on the Dxdp so I apologize if I'm wrong, but if you want someplace more fancy, Yachtsman Steakhouse. DELICIOUS.

Trex is one of our favs and we are adults. Lol So I think your kids will like it!! If you really want to try a resort restaurant, I would suggest Kona. Poly is awesome. I would choose CR over GG but like I said we are all adults.
