MNSSHP wristbands at Tortuga Tavern - The DIS Discussion Forums

Is the wristband location right in front of Tortuga Tavern and what time does Disney allow guests to start obtaining wristbands? We will be at Pirates League earlier in the day and I hope to get the wristbands then before the lines start up! As another thought...can we just show our MNSSHP tickets at the gate when we enter with our KTTW tickets in the morning and get our wristbands right then?

1. Party tickets are not accepted, and wristbands are not available, prior to 4:00pm.

2. Party tickets are not just "shown". They must be either used through the turnstile or scanned by a reader which goes to the computer to show that the ticket was actually used. This prevents re-use opf the tickets by members of a group that are already in the MK.

So what about people who are spending all day in the park (those who have a day pass and a party pass)? I assumed that it would be like MVMCP where you could just bring your party ticket to a specified location to get a wrist band. If this is not the case for the halloween party where are you supposed to bring your ticket to get it scanned? I doubt they'd make you leave and come back in with the party ticket....

I think there a couple of areas within the park that you can take your ticket to and have them activate it and get a writsband.

They definitely have a wristband location at Tortuga Tavern. They will start distributing them at 4.

Can I bring all the tickets while my family rides a ride, etc, or do they all need to be present with their own ticket?

We were able to get our wristbands on 9/21 at 4:00 at an area across from the Stitch attraction in Tomorrowland. There was no line at all. They just scanned our e-tickets and did our wristbands. It was nice to not have to leave the park.

It's equivalent to a park entrance, so they all have to be there.

I thought I read somewhere that the line over by Stitch gets really long, so I was planning on going to Tortuga instead. Does it just vary from day to day?

I had always heard there was a wristband spot in Adventureland so asked about it at last year's MVMCP. I was told they only use that location on party nights when they are expecting a bigger crowd. The location in Tomorrowland is there regardless.

Each must be present with their own ticket, as a CM will be the one putting the wristbands on the Guests.

For the last three years we have got our wristbands by Stitch. We go there at about 4 and never encounter any lines.

We always get our there too and have never encountered a line.

The check in station by Stitch moves pretty quickly because it's only for party goers who are already in the park. There are multiple check in kiosks and several CMs putting wristbands on partygoers.

If you're near the front of the park you can do it at the Main Entrance. However, you would have to exit the park and re-enter through the party turnstiles. If you avoid the initial rush at 4:00 it's not that time consuming either.

We've done both depending where we were in the park.
