You are not alone - there are over 3 million people watching this on Youtube as I type this. He is presently at almost 70,000 feet. Temperature outside his capsule is over 71 degrees below zero. The air pressure outside is over 20 times lower than that at sea level.

A short while back they re-ran the launch this morning. The look of the emotions on his mother's face as the capsule broke free the guy lines was indescribable.
