Adding DDP w/o park tkt
We have decided to add the ddp to the 1st part of our trip as we are doing ALL character meals and it acutally works out cheaper. Even though, I swore we would never get it again!
![]() So heres the scenario, we are DVC owners and AP holders. We will be staying at AoA for 4 days prior to checking in to AKV-Kidani. I know that we are able to add the ddp to our room only reservation at AoA, but can my inlaws as well? They are traveling with us but do not hold an AP or DVC.

I am assuming you will have an AP ticketless package (not a room only - you cannot add a DDP to a room only, it has to be changed to a ticketless package.) If your inlaws are in the same room that is not a problem. If they are in a different room you would have had to book their room as part of the AP ticketless package. I think the AP holder can book up to 3 rooms on the package but you will have to check that when you call.
Remember that when the reservation becomes a package, you're under package rules - $200 deposit, balance paid in full 45 days out, etc.

I don't know. I doubt they will allow you to book two rooms at different resorts under the AP package. If it's allowed, you would have to be with them when they check into their resort because they won't have an AP to present. You could check with them and see if they would like to move to your resort. If they need tickets, they could also buy tickets for the full stay as part of their package (assuming the full stay is not more than 10 days) and get a dining plan themselves just for the first stay.
