We are going to WDW next January 2014. We will have a 2 1/2 year old and a 5 year old. Will I need a stroller for the 5 year old? If so any objections to my double stroller?

It depends on the 5 year old, but I would lean towards yes.

Whether or not I have objections to your double stroller would be based on what kind it is. I'm fairly anti-travel system. However, usually it's best to go with whatever you're familiar with...

Are you planning on using Disney buses to get around? Then you should be sure you can quickly fold and unfold the stroller. And hold onto it on the bus without whacking someone with it.

Keep in mind too that you may end up having to stand on a bus. Be sure you can manage hanging onto the stroller and the little ones while standing on a moving bus.

Hi! I just want to chime in and say how much I loved my Graco Sit and Stand stroller for the trip I took this past summer with my almost three year old and five year old... both seats hold up to 50 lbs, and it so easy to use... Check out a review I wrote for the stroller:

Good luck with your decision!

Our last trip had a 2.5 year old and a 5 year old. The plan was for the 2.5 year old to ride in the stroller. I know my 5 year old could handle walking the entire time. Plus, she's small enough that our stroller would be fine for her if she needed it break. It turned out that the 2.5 year old refused the stroller so we did give her more breaks than we had planned on - better than pushing an empty stroller! So, my advice is to also bring a carrier. Our plan was 2.5 year old in the stroller and 5 year old walking. But if the 5 year old needed the stroller at the end of the night, then I had a sling for the little one. It didn't quite work out that way due to the younger child not following our plan. I was so glad I had the sling!

I'd take the stroller for the 5 year old unless you want to take the chance of having to carry them out of the park at night. It's a long day for little feet. My son was 4 on our last trip and he generally does not want to ride, but did so without a fight by the end of the trip because he was tired and we got where we were going faster.

We use the sit and stand for that age. It works GREAT!!! The older one can get on and off easily by herself and it seems less "babyish" for her. We have had no problems with it on the busses.
