We do not do Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. We did Disneyland on Christmas Day in 2004 and over 2.5 million people were there and you were packed like a can of sardines making your way through the park and it wasn't all that enjoyable to be honest. We hit that park on Christmas Eve and usually do Epcot/Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios hop instead and last year we hopped to Magic Kingdom when it opened after people started clearing out.
Been to the world and been to the land.

Are you saying to not switch parks because they fill up and you might not get in to a different park if you switch? We are going Dec 27th and I was planning on getting park hoppers but if it makes more sense to stay at the same park all day b/c of crowds we'll do that. I've never gone w/out park hoppers.

I am amending this post: We have been to DW before. We have been on Christmas day. We went last year (12/18-26). I know how "it" will be. We love the ambiance of Disney at Christmastime. We have all our ADRs set (180 days in advance). I am hoping for some **extra tips or tricks** Maybe something off the beaten path. Ways to meet characters or get special priviledges.

We are going to Disney World this Christmas season (we have been there two other years at this time). We are bringing our 3 and 6 year old daughters.

I was wondering if anyone had any REAL tips tricks etc to make Christmas Day (or another day that week) at the Magic Kingdom EXTRA special!

I know.. advanced ADRs, get there early, fastpasses, MVMCP, expect lines, etc. I have spent hours perusing the Internet and books. I am looking for special ideas or tips or even tricks - the ones that not everyone knows. Time savers? Special opportunities? Magical moments for my little girls??

Or maybe special ideas for navigating the park, special spots for parades or fireworks, etc....

From your edit, it looks like you are just looking for freebies or special privileges... Your kids will be at WDW Cristmas Day. That is pretty special. Anything more than that... Not likely.

Not so much freebies as much as tips -
....stand here for the parade
.... Mickey is always easier to meet..
....don't miss...
And yes any other special privileges ... I know Disney is wonderful as it is (especially at Christmas), but anything extra would be great!!! I know that anything we do at Disney will be magical! I was just hoping to land some tips to add to the magic! My thought is while at Disney go big or go home
