Table Service Meals to go?
We have a four year old with Autism, and sitting down and eating in a restaurant is not much of an option for us. I'm thinking of booking us at the Caribbean Beach Resort instead of a value resort, and with the new special offer that would include the Magic Your Way Plus Dining (I am not up on all the acronyms you pros use
).Would we be able to get Table Service meals to go, and eat them either outside or back in our room? What I like about quick service meals is that you can take them anywhere!

In general, WDW restaurants do not take to-go orders.
You might find a few that will accommodate when asked, but this is not standard procedure. I do not know the procedure at Shutters, the only TS restaurant at CBR. If you do not have a car, bringing a meal from pretty much anywhere else on WDW property back to CBR will be difficult at the least. In a pinch, you can use the TS credits to purchase CS meals. You may want to inquire on the DisABILITIES forum about possible arrangements that might be made for a special needs child.

I have an autistic son too so I understand. I have gotten our meals boxed up to go after we have ordered and realized he was not going to stay. I have also brought in something I knew he would eat(a lunchable) and we were able to eat that way. You just never know how they are going to do.
I have never ordered to go though. It wouldn't hurt to ask I'm just not sure calling is going to work since you may just get a reservation agent who really doesn't know anything. |

Have you thought about booking at CSR? There the Pepper Market will let you get your food to-go, and it counts as one quick service meal. We did that many times during our last trip.

Now that Pepper Market is a buffet for two meals, you can only get food to go for dinner. Still a good idea but just thought you may not be aware of that.

Is there a time of day that your son does better? My DS did better at lunches so we always did our TS at lunch time instead of dinner. Between the autism and ADHD it can be fun. He is MUCH better now at 16.
