Should I get D23 membership for preview of fantasyland??

So we are going to the world Oct 30-Nov6 and I really really really want to go to the preview of fantasyland on Nov 4. I see that AP holders can go and D23 members as well. So far nothing is posted about DVC members being able to go. Do you think its worth the money to be a D23 member just to go to the preview??

DVC members are supposed to be getting a preview also. Details just haven't be announced yet. The DVC member previews should be similar dates as the passholder and D23 previews.

Yes, that's what I am waiting for. Just don't want to miss out on it because DVC is taking so long.

Funny, we will be there the same time so I came here looking to see if there was any news of a DVC member preview since I missed out with the AP. I won't get my AP voucher in the mail until Wed after calling to change my delivery method from will call to express delivery when I read about the preview.

I would consider getting a D23, the silver membership is cheap enough just to get a preview of fantasy land. It looks like all you need is a membership number to register for the preview and it appears you get that in a confirmation email when you sign up.

I hadn't heard of it either, but it looks like the D23 dates are the same as the AP with a 10/8 registration:

I am going to give this a try, because I am going to be really disappointed to be in MK on the 3rd and see people going into the preview and knowing that I had a chance to register to be one of those people, but missed my opportunity.

lol, worse case scenario I got a D23 membership for a year.

this could cause a problem though:

For domestic purchases, your membership card will arrive within 7-10 business days after the end of the month.

Yeah, I'm wondering if I should get a scond, as you are only allowed one guest, but don't know if it will arrive in time, and if it doesn't, how lenient they might be with the membership info email/iphoto id..stressing today!

I did a search on the DIS for D23 and found some example of people being let in to D23 events who hadn't received their membership cards yet. They only had to bring their registration confirmation email and photo id.
I figure it is worth a try. Like I said, worst case scenario, they tell me no, (I will be there already) and I have a D23 membership for the next year.

Me neither, and am panicking! Just shot off two emails and a voicemail to guest relations.
Hoping that they postponed and just forgot to mention it!

I don't see a link, despite the home page for the D23 website saying that you can get tickets now. The sign-up date for AP holders was pushed back a week, so I'm guessing the we'll be affected by the same technical difficulties.

lol it's a scam.
I only got the D23 membership because my AP vouchers weren't arriving till Wed. Now it appears it doesn't matter.

Oh well, at least I have off next monday too and no one home so I should have no interruptions as I sit at my computer hitting refresh.

oh well, I am giving up for now.
