I can't see how you could do that in the MDR's - someone else would be at your table.

You could go to one seating and then get additional food from room service or the quick serve places on the pool deck, I suppose.

I have heard of people going to the MDR (usually with their children) and eating a lite dinner and then going to Palo.

You could eat at the pool deck restaurant and the MDR if you want two sit down meals. But it is not open the first and last night.

No, it is not true. You will be assigned to either main or late seating and that is where you will go. You can't just show up at the other. However, you can eat at the pool deck restaurant + your assigned seating, and you can go to Palo plus your assigned seating if you work the times right....the only problem is that I'd explode....don't know about you.

You can also order multiple entrees or multiple desserts at your assigned seating if you wish.

My thoughts exactly. Why would I want to, I almost want to throw up thinking about it. I would have to be taken to the medicl office afterwards.

But seriously I have been invited back my the maitre d to come back to have dessert when we have had to skip due to kids needing to get to club or off to the show, etc. They are so sweet!! Otherwise I have never tried to come back for a second meal, I don't have room enough for all the food the first go round

This is completely plausible, if worked out upon boarding.

Of course you can, as long as there is space, and you speak to the Head Server. I feel it would be the easiest if your reserved MDR time was early. Then you could show up for late MDR too if worked out prior with the MDR. Sounds like a great plan to me. When you board go to MDR changes station and give them your request to eat for 5 hours.

I love it. This may be me if I love an entree or appetizer. I may return to the MDR and lurk, annoy and spook, until offered my request of FOOD.

If you have first seating and time it right, you could go to the buffet where they serve a casual sit down dinner with various dishes from the MDR menus.

My brother ate through all the steak one night at main seating and when he asked for his (I think 4th steak) our server was very apologetic when he told him that they didn't have anymore for main seating but he could come back for late seating and they would serve him more. True story!

I have to admit to going to the main seating then later to Cabanas on the Disney Dream lol...in my defence due to illness I had lost a lot of weight and lost my appetite. On board the dream I found it again because the food was so fantastic and the servers went out of their way to attend to my diet requirements. My DW was so delighted to see me eat she booked another cruise to 'top me up'. Lol
