Ticket Upgrade question

My family has a trip coming up at the same time as some friends of ours. They leave 2 days before we do. Well, one of them wanted to stay the couple extra days, so we offered to let him stay with us those days. Their group booked packages that included hoppers and the dining package. I know you can get a normal park hopper upgraded during your stay by going pay the difference in the tickets. But can you get just the ticket upgraded if it is part of a package?

Yes. Absolutely. (Up to a maximum total number of 10 days, per ticket.)

But, wait to do the upgrade until after the guests have checked-in, received their tickets, and have used the tickets
at least one time to enter a theme park.

Assuming that the original tickets had at least 5 days on them, each additional day will cost just $10 per ticket (plus tax.)
