When do clocks change in US

Hi, I don't often post on here so not sure if I'm asking this question in the right place! We travel to the US from the UK in a couple if weeks and I have a feeling that the clocks change while we're out there. Please could someone confirm that I'm right in saying that the night we go to bed on 3rd November, we would change our clocks back one hour. Just need to get it sorted as we fly home in the evening on the 4th! Thank you.

Correct...when you go to bed on 11/3, "fall back" an hour. That's how lots of people remember what to do. You "fall back" in the fall and "spring ahead" in the spring.
