Having a hard time deciding what cruise to take

I'm looking into booking a cruise for my mom brother and sister this January. I have two options and I don't know which to choose! The first sails 1/10/13 from Miami and goes for four nights to Bahamas which stops at Key West and the second sails 1/5/13 from Miami and is a five night cruise to the Western Caribbean which stops in Cozumel. The youngest of us is my brother who is 16.

Has anyone take a cruise with these two itineraries? Both go to Castaway Cay which was the most important thing to me. Which should I choose?

If you don't have strong feelings one way or the other over the ports of call, I'd choose the longer one.

We actually like Key West. I'd take the 4 nights. I'd normally say the longer, but Cozumel.... Blah!

You should check out the shore excursions and see what would interest you. Cozumel has many more beach excursions than Key West would so its just a matter of what you would rather do. We love the western route and like stopping at Cozumel. It will be warmer in Cozumel than in Bahamas typically for January since January weather can really vary. Have fun choosing and have a great cruise!

I think the 4-night cruises from Miami don't have a sea day, so I would assume that they also don't offer brunch at Palo if this is something which could be of interest for you.
