It depends what triggers the problem. For me, Dinosaur is fine. Star Tours is an absolute no go. I did it once and got extremely sick. It's the film that affects me in Star Tours as it's a visual thing for me. I can't watch the French movie in Epcot or portions of Mickey's Philharmagic either so it's not always about actual motion.

Dinosaur no problem. Star tours, I typically shut my eyes through certain parts of it and have no lingering affects.

Dinosaur you are too busy trying to keep from getting whip lash or your neck broken from all the thrashing you around from side to side to worry about getting motion sick!! NEVER again will I ride that 'ride'... That was just painful.

I suffer from motion sickness.
Dinosaur is ok for me. I rode Star Tours once some years ago. Got off the ride and just made it to the restroom.

I had no problems with Dinosaur but both my sister and I felt sick after riding Star Tours. Everyone else in our party (my husband, my mom, DD 12, DS 6, and my sister's two kids) felt fine and said it was one of their favourite rides in DW. My sister and I didn't throw up or anything but it left us feeling queasy for about 20 minutes after.

Well that's for you to determine because I don't know how badly you suffer from motion sickness. But to help you make that decision, here are some rides to compare each to.

Nausea factor.
Severe. Mission Space Orange,
High. Primeval Whirl, Teacups.
Moderate Star Tours,
Mild Dinosaur, Astro Orbiter, Mission Space Green.
None. POTC, Small World.

I rarely feel any motion sickness (unless I ride the teacups too many times in a row). With that in mind, Star Tours makes me feel yucky. I would never be able to ride it twice in one day. If you get motion sick I would avoid this ride. Dinosaur is fine for me, but again, most rides never bother me.

Dinosaur I was fine with but Star Tours made me feel sick! I think I spent most of the ride with my eyes shut as its watching the video that makes feel ill!

I had no problem with Dinosaur (it's rough motion, if it had been smooth I would have felt it), but I chickened out of Star Tours with DD. She got claustrophobic & left as soon as she walked in. I followed. I was really worried it would make me sick.

At least in Dinosaur, you're not trying to match up artificially induced motion with a movie -- the props and scenery outside the ride vehicle are real!

I don't ride Dinosaur much because of the jerking. I need to sit after I ride that one. Star Tours, I have never done because I know I will get sick. I tried Space Mt with the patch on once and it didn't help a bit. Too jerky and whipping around. Big Thunder Mt RR was horrible (the first trip and I really wanted to do it). I'm dying to do Mission: Space, but know that I can't. I can't even do Cinderella's carousel. And Mad Tea Party will really do me in.

I'm with the majority, Dinosaur, I'm good with (actually one of my very favorites!) and Star Tours is a no go. It's actually a visual thing with me also, like someone else said. So matching the movie with the motion...it was no bueno.

My DH actually felt awful for a little bit after Star Tours, too, and he never gets motion sick.
