Michael Vick a dog owner again? Hmmmm

Just came across this article from Yahoo Sports : http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-sh...2907--nfl.html

I'm all for him getting his life back on track, playing football again, etc - and there's nothing legally keeping him from owning a dog again, but ... how can he find a heart for dogs now, when he didn't have one before?

I can't tell what's on that box, but it's interesting that he deleted that tweeted pic and added a new one with the box missing.

I wonder if when all this dog activity was going on how much he involved in. I never paid that much attention I guess. SO was he just seeing the money part was't it his cousin who lived in his house in Va who was the one who was actually doing the activity? Because if this was the case you don't have to think about where the money is coming from and what is actually going on. I mean you can block what is going on you know. Now if he actually watched some of the dog fighting you wonder how he was so callous....welll yes you wonder that anyway. I don't know if I am making sense cause I am not defending him.

I wish nothing but horrible, disgusting things on him and anyone else involved in the barbaric "entertainment" called dog fighting. It's horrific.

The box is a box of Milkbones.

So, he's also cheap disgusting human being.

I hope he rots in hell.

JMHO, of course.

Sort of not really. I was saying I wasn't sure how much he was involved. If it wasn't and he was just seeing money it may have been easy for him to not think about the dogs.

what do you really think??? I agree with you. How in the hell can anyone involved in dog fighting be given a "second chance" at owning a dog??? Yes, he served his time and bla-bla-bla. He should still be kept as far away from animals as possible

That man has paid blood money and then some. It is ridiculous. He was made to pay more than rapist in the NFL. I know the Dis does not understand this but dog fighting is not uncommon in Georgia. It really isn't, go ahead and tell me I'm full of **** or what ever...but I'm not. It is, what it is.

He paid his debt to society LEAVE HIM ALONE. He is a helluva lot better than Big Ben rapist.

That's like 'hey, he only killed two people, he's not Ted Bundy, leave him alone!'

Just because other people also do bad things doesn't mean we as a society excuse someone else.

Lots of things aren't uncommon lots of places. Doesn't make them ok or acceptable or anything else. Slavery was also, at one point, not uncommon in Georgia. Still wrong though.

He shouldn't be allowed to live with animals, ever.

Correct, agree and all that jazz.

Pedophiles can't live within a certain proximity of schools, parks, etc. Same thing, IMO.

He has no remorse, no guilt, and again - I hope he drops dead.

No remorse:

Vick was in on it as well. His cousin turned on him:it was his cousin who was under investigation I think for drugs and the cops discovered the horror in that house in Surry.pRt of his plea agreement was to admit to certain things,so yes, ol MV was involed. Yes, he can now have a dog,he has stated he wants one for his kids. His little dog fight club kennel was called Bad News(a nickname for my city)kennels. That house needs to be torn down.the lady who bought it for rescue animals is being allegedly talked about using pepper spray or mace on them by former and current employees.people are sick. I feel if you need to have other animals fighting for you then you are a little rhymes with witch. He is still very loved (um not by me but I was never impressed with him or his loser brother)in parts of this city. He was embraced again by football.he makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

I can't have anything good to say or to feel about anyone who abuses children, the elderly or animals. Such behavior is an indication of a serious character flaw, evil within or both.

Anyone here read: The Lost Dogs?

http://www.amazon.com/The-Lost-Dogs-.../dp/1592405509

If you haven't, you should. I had to put it down a few times. It's horrifyingly detailed.

I'd like to see anyone read the actual details of how he treated those dogs, the torture and abuse, and then tell me he should be allowed to have ANY animal, of any kind, even near him. And if you can ...

He's a waste of skin.

JMHOYMMV.
