Marriott now runs Gaylord Hotels
I didnt see this posting anywhere in the offsite forum so I wasn't sure if its been discussed yet. You are now able to book the Gaylord Palms right on the Marriott.com website.
Wonder if this will have any effect on ICE?? http://www.hud.gov/buying/comq.cfm |

I thought this would make bigger noise around these boards. It's a solid pick up for Marriott and Gaylord Palms is going to generate huge revenues for the company given its location!

I think the Gaylord properties are a great addition to the Marriott portfolio.
We stayed at Gaylord Palms years ago to pick up some extra nights over a holiday weekend that we couldn't get a discounted room at WDW. I thought it was fantastic! We stayed in the Emerald Bay section. No complaints other than the distance to the WDW attractions and honestly, it was an easy drive and not that far. It would be my top pick if I'd have to stay offsite.
