Mama Melrose Fantasmic meal

Does anyone have information about the Fantasmic dining package at MM? I was thinking of doing it during lunch hours but wasn't sure if there is a special menu to order off of ? What are you allowed to order? App, entree and dessert? Thanks for any info on this.

We've done it a few times. It is not a special menu. And we did get app, entree, and dessert. I've heard a lot of people down on MM, but we always enjoy it. They will give you a ticket paper pass to take to Fantasmic when it is time. When we went, we used a different entrance, down past the regular entrance and right outside the ToT gift shop.

We've done the Fantasmic package twice. Ressies were at an odd time - once 3:30 for dinner but it worked out ok since we weren't served right away! I like their food and so do my kids who are picky. It's one place we all agree on.

We did a lunch Mama Melrose's Fantasmic! package in July...we had a great experience! It was my husband and myself...package included non-alcoholic drinks, bread and dipping oil with herbs, an appetizer each, an entree each and a dessert sampler to share. The only thing we didn't get to choose ourselves was the dessert, everything else we chose directly off of the regular menu.

What does the dining package actually get you for the show. I understand that you have a different entrance and don't have to be there near as early. Do you actually get in just ahead of the other line? Do they end up merging you with the other group? Is there a special seating area?

MM F! Package

We did this May 28 2012....

I've now "done" all 3 F! packages and Mama Melrose is my absolute FAVORITE !

Rather than wait in line forever (we go at the very busy times of year) you can arrive 30 minutes prior to the show and be seated in the Special F! Dining section.

The view is fabulous. I am an F! dining fan. Here is a link to my review:

Have a magical visit !

Last year we sat front row in the center of the amphitheater. My DS loved getting misted by the water Where is the special area located. Do we have to sit in it once we are inside?

Thanks for the info! What about the menu for HBD? That is prix fixe, right?

We have never been forced to sit in the special area but I really like the view there....so no problems with it....

In fact we ran late our last visit ! Imagine 6 people running at top speeds to the arena... I was nervous that we would be turned away... we could have been after all....
CM's were cheering us on.... when we got there only the handicapped area was available and the CM's told us we could sit there unless needed by handicapped folks... of course we agreed... GREAT view !

PP... The HBD F! Package was prix fixe when DS and I did this May 2010. We each chose an appy, entree and dessert from the menu. I did not care for this meal however the menu has changed a bit since then and when we did Imagineer dining May 2012.... I really enjoyed the food....

For Imagineer, you choose from a limited menu but those choices are on the regular menu as well... so you COULD order them for the F! Package....

Here is that review with pics

Location of F! area in arena

Butsy;

ROBO on here has excellent aerial views of the arena with the Fantasmic area marked...

Maybe he will see this or you can PM him....

As I recall it is the FULL Section a couple shifts to the right of the stage...so I would bet you can still get splashed at the bottom of the arena in the F! section.....

I'm a Mama convert

First time we tried Mama Melrose I did not enjoy, and got sick. We decided to give it another try after having done the Fantasmic package at BD a few times, and needing a change. We have done the Fantasmic package at MM for the past two years, and actually enjoyed it more this year. The menu has changed (for the better, we think). The clams appetizer with sausage is good (although a bit salty), and the seafood pasta entree is different and tasty. There was not a choice with the deserts, but we are not big desert people, so it didn't matter. We enjoyed what they gave us, and will go back next year. Our server was vey friendly and nice.
