Don't forget to use your carryon luggage, you'll want to bring at least one carryon in case your luggage gets lost so put the the 4 days (the 2 seperate 2 night stays) in there & the clothes for the 7 night stay in your suitcase.

We go with the ziploc bag strategy & are able to get enough clothes for 5 days/nights (changing clothes for dinner) into 1 carryon. Just fold the clothes & squeeze all the air you can out of the ziploc bag. Also, take your carryon & place it on end-you know how you load a carryon from the top? Don't do it that way, place it on its side (so its tall) and put your clothes in it as if you were piling them on a shelf, you can get 2x the amount of stuff in your bag than if you top load it.

That's a great idea! I usually just take an extra pair of shoes, maybe an extra shirt, and bathing suit in my carry on. I'm always worried that our luggage will get lost so this would be something for us to try!!
