Question Help! Need info. on MVMCP

I need expert advice! I having a situation... I have CRT booked for 4 pm on a MVCMP night. I only want to enter the park on that ticket not a regular park ticket. I know they sometimes let people in starting around 4- 4:30 ... does anyone know if we have dining at 4 pm... will they let us in early to go to CRT to eat? If not, I need to change everything around.... and it's JUST NOT WORKING out the way I want. But if I purchase MVMCP tickets for that night and show up and they won't let us enter, I'm in trouble because I can't miss our CRT. HELP me....

1- I know they sometimes let people in starting around 4- 4:30 ... does anyone know if we have dining at 4 pm...

2- will they let us in early to go to CRT to eat?
1- Not sometimes. Always.

2- Although they can open the gates to party-ticket holders a bit early, don't expect that to necessarily
happen on the afternoon you are there.

BUT, you will have no problem arriving at CRT a bit after your ADR time.
No worries.

Have fun!

Agree with all. Don't sweat being just a few minutes late on an ADR--the Disney infrastructure will somehow survive.

Robo, are you sure MVMCP tickets will definately let us in at 4:00? We are moving over from the Darkside that day and I am trying to decide how many days we need for our park hoppers. Can you come and go during MVMCP (if you had an ADR at one of the monorail resorts)? I know it is kind of a waste of money, but just wanting to consider all my options.

I am sure. This question is asked and answered for MNSSHP many, many times a week. MVMCP will be the same.

Please reconsider leaving and coming back for food. It is not a waste of money, it is a tremendous waste of money in my opinion.

I agree. I can't imagine spending $60+ for each ticket then spending a single moment sitting in a restaurant. Add travel by monorail and I really can't imagine it.

We always do a TS in the parks around 4:30 then have some cookiesa and cocoa as a snack later.

Friday, September 14, I had a 4:00 appointment at the Harmony Barber Shop and actually went through the turnstile at 3:53.

Also, without a reservation I went over to Tony's at about 4:40 without a reservation as was seated within five minutes.

We were not originally planning on doing MVMCP on Monday 11/11, I have and ADR at Ohana's that night. We added the days at Universal very recently, so our schedule is under serious adjustment. Do you guys think that the MVMCP on Monday 11/11 or the MVMCP on Thursday 11/15 will be less busy?

I agree. Either way you'll get people who lengthen their weekends at the beginning of their trip or the end of their trip.

Glad to hear that the poster will make their ADR, since I have Be Our Guest at 4:05 on 12/11, and only want to get in with my MVMCP ticket.

Thanks for the great news!!

Good question.... I was suppose to go on the 12th but the dining ordeal that I posted about made me change to the 15th. So, my vote is the 12th cause I want less people there on the 15th

I meant Monday 11/12 not the 11th for the MVMCP. We will be going to the MVMCP on the 15th as we originally planned (sorry).

Agree. We just ate CS during the party we went to and found it to be a big waste of time. We did not get to do all the party things we wanted to do because of it.
