Daily Grind Monday 10/8/12
It's monday UGH!!! I have it off but the boys have school so I was up early.
FIL is being a total pain again, supposidly lost himself in the garden (a good 200 yards from his house) looking for soda for mom whose been dead almost 10 years on thurs night then this am can't get himself dressed. While I'd like to believe he's not faking it just a week before he told Tom he didn't know how he could afford heat. He makes almost 4 times in pension what I make! So after we finish dealing with that. boys to bus vac house box of stuffing/gauze to truck drop tom at field to finish job mom's for more party stuff need to finish sign designs and print. throw dinner in crockpot at somepoint I know there is more. Rebecca continued prayers for you all |

Have a good day everyone!
I am feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions I need to make- mom has passed a lot of them onto me and while I understand it doesn't make making them easier. Today: call mom to decide on open/closed casket funeral home to choose out casket- anything else they need and give info for the obituary funeral for family friend who died Thursday from brain cancer paperwork together for church conference this evening meet up to carpool to church conference get in touch with siblings to see who wants to speak at the funeral get copy of piano accompaniment for a song I want at the funeral that our musician doesn't know send piano piece to the musicians make list of things we need to have done before the services contact people to let them know I gave the wrong time for the viewing in the bulletin and to the other churches in the area begin shopping for food for when everyone is here for the weekend clean guest bathroom That is enough for today saying that it will take 45 minutes to get to the funeral home and the funeral is also 45 minutes from the house. Rebecca

Hang in there Rebecca. You can only do so much don't wear yourself out trying to do it all. Thoughts and more prayers coming to you. You need them I just need to vent.
The saga continues....... tom's now taking him to the ER. What really bugs me is this "person" is taking away care form someont who really needs it..... it's going to be a LONG day here cause while I try not to fight with Tom I'm so sick of him jumping like a puppet for this man. |

I have a friend that is an ER nurse - they will make him wait if someone else comes in that really needs them. so Tom might have a long day in the waiting area - I hate to sound mean but I don't understand why people go to the ER if it really isn't an emergy(sp??) last time I went they were several people there for allergies they got mad when we were seen first (broke elbow)

Tom says he's leaving him off and he's on his own, well see if it happens or not. He told tom that dyalisis ignored him on fri when he said he didn't feel good. This has always been his pattern, if he doesn't get what he wants he goes there cause they can't ignore him. I hope they make him wait all day and 1/2 the night. This man just doesn't get it. If you ask him if he called his dr he'll tell you they told him to go to the er! He apparently thinks we fell off the turnup truck yesterday. I so badly want to call the dyalisis unit and ask but I'm trying to stay out of it. Tom sticks his head in the sand and ignores the issues too so if I stay out of it then he has to deal with it and I feel like if he wants to play into the games his "father" plays then you deal I'm done dealing with this horse manure. I've been the good DIL and done more than I should have and I'm sick of it. It just stinks cause it then causes Tom to be a jerk to me cause he's stressed and you always take it out on the ones you love. I have never backed down from a fight in my life so i find it VERY hard not to be baited by the attitude......

I think I would be tempted to call the ER & let them know that the dyalisis didn't do what he wanted so that is why he is there & see how long they can make him wait for his fun has he done this before?? it maybe in his file so they already know (&then will take the allergy people before him) good luck on staying out of it - I know I would have a hard time doing that even knowing it is best

Thanks Caroline!
Reddy I'm tempted to call both, cause he has no way to dyalisis from there. A transportation company picks him up at home and drops him off. They will only pick him up at home. So he's made another bed lets see how he gets himself out of this one, oh wait he'll call tom whinning and tom will run and get him cause of the guilt trip. Man I wish I could guilt trip him into a few things I'm in a witchy mood today! So much for a nice day off with no kids I was so looking forward to.

Happy Birthday DS12!!!!!!!!!
Rebecca, continued hugs and prayers, sorry you are having to take the brunt of the funeral arrangements. I hope mom and the boys are doing ok. Take care of yourself too! UGH, canceling the WDW trip tonight. BFF is having money issues and other BFF is going through IVF, which was postponed a month. So, we are aiming for next December. I really want to go to WDW! Maybe I can convince DH to let me take DS12 to WDW for Everest Challenge in May. |
