Had a great day at WDW Monday. The weather was beautiful.

MK was very crowded. Had lunch in the new castle. Waited about 30 minutes just to get in the door. Took about another 30 minutes to place and receive our order. The big holdup was the touch screen ordering system. The food was just average.

Talked to a CM about the January crowds (which is usually the slowest month at WDW). At a meeting the CMs were told that crowd volumes were up 30% over past years. They are attributing this to the new Fantasyland. They said to expect larger crowds than usual until the end of August.

Spent a few hours at Epcot in the late afternoon. Not very crowded. Had to get my caramel fix in Germany.

We had a great dinner at Sanaa with one exception--no savanna view. Last week a thin wooden fence was put up on the windows of Sanaa. This fence should be up for a short time. They are having a problem with one new antelope seeing his reflection in the windows.

Glad you had a great day, Kathy! I am looking forward to getting there this weekend. Looks like the weather will be perfect for my week at WDW!

I guess I will see the fence for myself Monday! Poor antelope.

Afternoon J's & K's - hope everyone is well!!!! BRRRRRRRR our warm temps left us today!!! This morining it was 75 - now it's maybe 60 - way toooooo cold for me!!! LOL
