Pedometerr at the parks

I'm just wondering what kind of results people have gotten wearing a pedometer to the parks. Was it a pain to wear or kind of fun to see how far you really walk in a day?

I have used an Omron in the past, now use a Fitbit.

Average between 5-9 miles a day.

I use the map my run GPS on my iPhone. Tracked us 8miles around Epcot and 6miles around MK.

I just slip it in my pocket and away we go. Only pain is pausing it for rides!!

We have also used a fitbit....love it. Averaged about 8 miles per day for me and dh was about 11-12, but he would work out in the morning on the treadmill. Why he thought he needed to start his day there confused the heck out of me!
I like the fitbit because you can put it in your pocket.
