Carry On Dimensions?

I know the rule is the dimensions cannot exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep. Though the rolling duffel bag that I just bought and was planning on bringing to fit the water, alcohol and 1st day essentials is 24" wide, 14" high and 12" deep. Will this cause a problem, are they very strict on this matter & will it fit with no problems through the scanner at PC?

As long as it would fit in a standard airport size screener it should be fine...that is all they care about. They don't really care about the actual dimensions.

Agree that there isn't an issue with the scanner at PC.

I notice you were planning on bringing water with you. You may want to save yourself the effort since the water on board is very good. They make it themselves (its not Florida water) and doesn't have any chemical taste.

Yes, the water on board is fine-but I would still bring 1-2 bottles of water per person so you can take with if you are going on an excursion. How is that water in the country you are going to??

I would stick somewhat close to those dimensions you listed of your carry on but if it is the expandable kind you will be fine.
