Does anyone use Sprint "Airave" booster?

My DS just moved and his cell no longer gets service at his new house. The website says he qualifies for the Airave, but how much is it, is there a monthly fee and does it work?

Thanks!

I had two of them. Neither worked. I spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with them trying to get it to work. They finally decided it wasn't compatible with my router!

I got it for free since it was their fault I no longer received service. Normally I believe it is $140 plus a monthly fee of $6 or something like that.

I stopped getting Sprint service at my house once they "upgraded" their towers.

I finally just ditched Sprint.

There is no fee for the unit and no cost per month. Very easy to set up but you must have cable or DSL Internet or it to work. It converts your calls to voice over ip when your home. Keep in mind once you have the unit active if call quality is poor its because you Internet connection is weak for going in and out. You are not able to start a call at home and drive off without dropping because the transfer from voice over ip to tower does not work in a phone call. Hope this helps. Lmk if you have other questions I'm sure I can answer them

WE did and it worked but we had to pay for it. We payed a fee for the little box thing ( 3 or 4 dollars) and then it was included as a line on our family plan so while it was free we had to pay for a a thrid line for me.

Okay, thanks everyone. Sounds like it is worth a try, or at the least a phone call to them!
