Sept 22 Galveston Magic.. trip report?

I was hoping for some early reports on how the first cruise out of Galveston went!!
I guess they are all traveling or doing laundry and don't have time for those of biting our nails to go!!!

How love to hear something.

The trip was incredible with near perfect weather. There were a couple of showers while on board the ship. There were quite a few watching Monday Night Football on funnelvision when one of the storm hit. There were some wind and showers on Costa Maya day. Sailing was smooth and the crew was outstanding as always. I have submitted navigators for posting. Ask if you have any specific questions.

We scheduled all of the excursions on our own without using Disney. In Grand Cayman we went to the Turtle Farm. In Costa Maya, we went to Maya Chan Beach. In Cozumel we went to Chankanaab and also went to tour a very small chocolate factory that we found on Trip Advisor. The weather was partly cloudy with an occasional brief shower with highs in the mid to upper 80's. The full show listings can be found on the navigators. The main live shows were: All Aboard, let the Magic Begin; Twice Charmed; Villains Tonight; Disney Dreams; and Remember the Magic, A Final Farewell. I personally only got to eat dinner on pirate night. My daughter was feeling very ill. My wife and son attended the Pirate Night show and fireworks and had a wonderful time. We were able to see the fireworks from our stateroom window though. She was sad to have missed but knew it to be better. She did recover by the following morning.

Would love to hear more about Maya Chen. We are considering going there in December. Also, thank you for bringing back and submitting the Navigators for us to obsess over before our trip.
