Those MNSSHP parade pics were awesome! I've gone to the DL "Mickey's Halloween Party" a few times and the parade is great but the floats are nothing like the elaborate WDW floats (for example, the glowing POTC float looked really neat), plus there's no headless horseman. I also loved your costumes! I can't believe that multiple people remembered the "23-19" reference. Those pics of the Sunshine Seasons breakfast are making me SO hungry- I LOVE SS!

Also, have an absolutely wonderful trip in a few days! And happy graduation to Caitlin!

Thank you. The floats at MNSSHP are really cool!
I could go for that breakfast right now!

Thank you!

We need to get this TR finished one week from tomorrow we are back in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we last left off we were in the middle of Andrew's whirl wind tour of Epcot. We were just about to leave the Land and head to Club Cool

On our way we had to take a picture of the ridiculous line in to Mouse Gears! This was the 30th anniversary and everyone wanted the merchandise!

We finally got to Club Cool and after testing out a few sodas had to move on. For some reason Andrew didn't get to try the Beverly until he was outside of the area

Trying to decide if he likes it

Nope he doesn't! I think he actually took the entire cup as a shot because he put too much faith and trust into his wife

We had to get some pics in front of the Food and Wine stuff

Then we had to take him to the Maelstrom.

This was another idiot encounter. The ride was just opening as we got in line. Well when we got in line one man decided to cut in front of us. Then he proceeded to tell the other four people he was with to cut in front of us as well. They all looked at me in the wheel chair and at first told him no but then ended up cutting.

After we got a mandatory pic

Then we rushed over to Canada so Andrew could get a quick taste of Food and Wine before he headed out.

He got the mushroom filet then we all had to run so he would be able to get back to the hotel and make his flight.

I kissed Andrew goodbye and said I would see him at the end of the month. He looked pretty sad and after mom gave him a hug and wished him a good flight we all headed to our hotel bus lines. I got a text from Andrew saying I miss you already and I turned to mom. "I miss him too but we have two days of Disney left!" Today I was feeling somewhat better but that wouldn't last all day....

When we got back to the hotel grandpa was supposed to meet us in the lobby of SSR but we couldn't find him. We walked up and down the entire lobby area and Artist Palette. We walked all around the pool area. If you remember he had left his cell phone in the car at the airport so there was no way of reaching him. We tried calling his wife and she hadn't heard from him. Mom decided to check with the front desk and see if they could call the room. They did and no answer. We got one of the luggage people to give us a ride over to the room. We had been searching for about half an hour and had an ADR to get to! When we got to the room he wasn't there. We saw the car though and walked over. Yep he had been waiting in the car He knew he had to be out of the room by 11 and forgot to to go to the lobby. So now that drama of the day behind us we headed to Animal Kingdom.

When we got there we had to head right to our ADR.

We were eating at Tusker House! We had a bit of a wait though so I killed time by taking pictures

Since I was feeling better I thought some alcohol was in order

One of my faves! A raspberry mixed pina colada! I used to always get the virgin ones but not anymore

Now we don't have any pics from this meal. The alcohol did not sit well with me. I actually look very sick and half asleep in all of these pictures so they have been omitted to save the eyesight of you my dear reader and my face

After we were done eating it was time for us to head on Safari!

For once I don't have too many pictures because I fell asleep on the Safari. Yes that's how sick I was feeling that I passed out on the ride that is not the smoothest ride in Disney World by a long shot!

Around this point I woke up and thought "This is the longest Safari ever!"

I took this picture and then took a play out of the lion's book and headed right back to sleep.

After my nap on the Safari we decided to head to see our favorite the gorillas!

When we went to the viewing area behind the glass there were a ton of people in front of it. Mom walked ahead trying to find us a spot and when she did called us over. Some man with his kid in a stroller stepped right in front her. It wasn't like he didn't hear her. Mom explained that she had called her daughter who was in a wheel chair over. The man sort of moved over but we didn't get a lot of room in the area and I remember sort of having to stand up to see.

After the trail we decided Grandpa needed to go on Dinosaur!

After the ride we headed into the gift shop near Hester and Chester's. There I finally found the Haunted Mansion tomb stone set I had been looking for! I picked up a couple other things to spend the $50 in order to get the Disney Chase Debit Card discount. Well I mentioned the discount and the CM rang me up without it. She then called over another CM to help her and they couldn't figure out how to do it. Then a third CM came over to help and she sort of figured it out but by this point the CMs were being a bit rude to us and no one had acknowledged us besides the first CM. Mom asked for the manager and once she showed up she was extremely rude. She acted like we had made the mistake and basically rolled her eyes when Mom tried to tell her the story. I was getting extremely frustrated because I didn't feel well and wanted to go back to our room and lay down. Finally after about 20 minutes they figured it out. On our way out we stopped by Guest Services to complain about our experience and the man we talked to was extremely apologetic. He was able to get us special viewing over at MK for the fireworks and was able to get us some fast passes.

After this was all over we headed to our next hotel the Beach Club! We would be staying Club Level here and we were so excited! Unfortunately the camera was left in the car! My bad! We loved being escorted inside by a CM then getting to go to the special floor After checking in we headed back to the room where I took a nap. When I woke up I was not feeling any better. My luggage had not arrived from All Star Movies so I called to check on it. It turns out instead of using my name at the time Andrew had added on my married name. So after getting that straightened out we headed to get the nightly offerings in the Club Level lounge. The appetizers were delicious and just what we needed! I especially loved the lemonade there! After eating we decided to talk a walk around outside since Illuminations would be starting soon. I unfortunately began having another hot flash and we had to head back inside. Instead of going to MK that night as we planned I spent the night shivering and sweating in bed.

Next up! End of the drama!

I have heard of'em that guy from Grease was in a movie with that theme song right?

And please, please, please.... less drama!!

We wouldn't have stayed true to our TR name if the drama stopped on the almost last day!

Who knew you'd need a fastpass for Mouse Gears??

It was ridiculous!

Now that you're married,I could make a comment here.... but, no.

I highly doubt that you could take a bad picture, Caitlin. You're too modest.

I just have always had a hard time liking pictures of myself These were pretty bad...

I fee really bad for you. Please tell me you're feeling okay now at least?

I am! Every once in a while I still get some pain but ever since I switched to a gluten free diet I have felt a lot better!

I know you were sick, but...

Yeah I was a mess!

What did he think of it? Was he startled?

Compared to the other rides he had to endure I think this was a cake walk!

Score!

Too bad you had to suffer through the rudeness, but at least one CM was willing to try and make things right.

It was nice. I wish we had been able to use the preferred seating he gave us!

Nice!

While it may have caused some stress.... didn't you feel a little warm and fuzzy that he used your maiden name? Was that the first time it was used?

It was pretty cute. It actually was the first time that name was used but my official married name is actually my maiden name and married name hyphenated

Oh, that's too bad.

It was a rough night!

Thank goodness! I don't know how much more I can take!

Thanks for the chapter!
Thanks for reading!

I have sort-of dozed off on Safari before, I will admit it.

So sorry that you spent so much of your trip not feeling well. What a drag. And it must have been really hard to say goodbye to Andrew.

Sounds like you ran into a bunch of rude people on your last day.

That drink does look good - too bad it added to your overall ill feeling.

I bet your beach club room was amazing. Glad you got settled in so easy and where able to get a nap.

It was an odd day!

Mom tried to do an update earlier but lost it on accident so now it is my turn at writing the last trip update for our Sept/Oct trip!

Before I get down to business though I wanted to share some good news with you all! I graduated on Sunday!!! After five years at EMU I now have my Bachelor's in Communications! Here are a couple pics from the big day!

Now done to business!

This morning we woke up and headed straight to the club level lounge! It was time for some breakfast!

Here is a mini tour of the Club Level area:

The kids area. Around this area was where we chose to sit because who doesn't like watching the Disney channel?!

The breakfast options

This was perfect for us! We aren't huge breakfast people so they had just enough for our hunger to be satisfied! We found that Club Level was a good value for us because it saved money when it came to breakfast and since we aren't huge dinner people either the snacks they had out around that time worked out better for us as well.

After breakfast we headed back to the room to take some pictures and get packed up. I was finally feeling better and we had to leave..

The cutest lamp ever!

The bathroom. We are very thorough with our trip reporting

Love this area!

Our view

Now our straight ahead view

After we were all packed up we headed down to bell services and took some pictures of the lobby we had originally missed out on.

After everything we set we headed to return our rental car to the Dolphin hotel. We had turned it in and then right when we were about to walk away I realized I had left the camera in the car Once we got it we then headed to Fantasmic mini golf.

The pool area at the Dolphin is just gorgeous!

The view of the Swan

Finally we got the mini golf area! We had done this course before and we always think of it fondly. Mom ruined our old digital camera here on my high school graduation trip Her ball ended up in the water and we told her not to go after it but of course she did just to prove Dad and I wrong. Well she got the ball but when she came back up from grabbing it the camera fell out of her sweater pocket

I prefer Winter/Summerland but it is still fun!

The descriptions for each hole have a secret about how to get a hole in one.

You also get a cool view of the Tower of Terror

Today I was feeling so good I was actually standing and walking from hole to hole!

Love the xylophone steps!

This was the hardest hole!

The little mushroom guys were turning around in a circle and trying to get the ball up the hill didn't help any!

The biggest baddy!

This little guy played music when you got the ball in the hole!

My favorite hole!Who doesn't like wine!?

A pic of grandpa and I

The dancing hippo hole

The buckets actually dumped water!

The only mouse allowed in anyone's house

The final hole

When your ball went in the water shot up

When the round was over we all assumed grandpa, the avid golfer, would win. Nope Mom did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all had a good time and it was time to head back.

We decided Beaches and Cream would be the best place for lunch followed by lounging at the pool.

Grandpa ordered a shake

We just love the decor in here!

Grandpa had the club sandwich

Mom had the hot dog and onion rings

And I had the grilled vegetable sandwich which was amazing!

For dessert I had the kids ice cream sundae with nonfat frozen vanilla yogurt

That my friends is the end of the pictures. We spent most of the afternoon at the pool then headed back to the Club Level Lounge for the afternoon offerings and I took a nap on the couch in there. We spent the rest of the time there until our car came to pick us up for the airport. After an uneventful flight home we arrived back in cold Michigan and began planning our next trip!

Overall it was an alright vacation. It was fun introducing Andrew to Disney and having Grandpa see the new things that had been added since his last trip. Of course getting married was the highlight! Yesterday was actually mine and Andrew's 7 month anniversary! My how time flies! Obviously the worst part of the vacation was dad's heart attack and me being sick. I missed out on so much this trip and honestly don't remember a good portion of it, from being wrapped up in the pain and sickness.

This next trip will be the make up trip and boy will it be amazing! You probably want to hear what our plans our right? Well Mom will have to tell ya
